Why linemen are awesome
Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 03:40PM i am already getting psyched for football. sure, I keep up with my favorite teams in the AFL2 league, and there are plenty of other seasons to pay attention to right now, but there is nothing like the NFL.
i am among that annoying camp of people who bitch about linemen not getting enough press, and needing more praise as a unit instead of having awards piled on the slightly above average quarterback that they are saving day in and out.
another reason linemen are awesome is because they use their fame to do WAY cooler stuff. to whom might i be intoning to infer to refer to? well, Joe Thomas of course. the not-enough-heralded 2nd year tackle from the 2009 Super Bowl Champion Browns. you wanna know why he's awesome? he's got his own outdoors show.
