Bite the wax tadpole

Ahh... the old trick of translating something from English to Chinese and back to English again. Does it ever get old?

I like to take headlines from newspapers and put them through Google Translate this way. It is especially amusing because headlines are practically their own dialect, and it is always a hoot poking fun at a computer program that has probably done more for the advancement of humanity than I ever will.

“Police Show up at Encino IndyMac branch as waiting customers clash”

Coming out:

"Police appear in Encino IndyMac with the party branch as customers wait for the conflict"
